Phosphatidylcholine is a liquid form of Lecithin, an enzyme naturally produced by our body and is the main component of all cell membranes and circulating lipoproteins. This active ingredient facilitates the emulsion of fat into smaller particles, allowing its absorption and transport.

After administration, Phosphatidylcholine, causes an enzymatic reaction that leads to the dissolution of fat, producing monoglycerides that if transported inside the mitochondria, participate in oxidative phosphorylation from which energy is obtained.

Lipolysis with intralipotherapy is a very effective therapy for reducing localized fat.
